Abstract:
In this paper, based on two phase fluid dynamics theory and considered the relative motion of both phase, general equations are obtained with regard to consolidation, seepage and sedimentation in a suspension.The physics sense of the element in the equations and the connection of the three theories in different fields are studied, which will be shown to be equivalent.Moreover, considered uneven field and compressible liquid, the equations can be applied to large, small deformatim consolidation, seepage of saturated soil and sedimentation. According to practical interest,the equations are simplified in different forms.
